Stéphane Natkin is professor at the IT department of the CNAM ( in Paris. He is the Director of the Graduate School onGames and Interactive Media (ENJMIN and the Mobility Interaction and Media group in the Research Laboratory CEDRIC ( He is also a member of the board of the Paris Digital Contents Cluster, Cap Digital ( He is the French representative of the IFIP group in Entertainment Computing (TC14). He has worked in the field multimedia systems, video games and both from the research and the industrial point of view. He is the author of numerous scientific publications in these fields. He acted, as a scientific advisor for Orange R&D for the research programs related to entertainments and games, and for Ubisoft (Training and pedagogy). He was for France Television the lead Game Designer of the Augmented Reality Game « Plus Belle la Vie ». He teaches Computer Games principles, Multimedia Systems, Digital Audio. He was the founder of a security software editor CESIR. He was the manager of « La Galerie Natkin-Berta », an art gallery presenting modern paintings, sculpture and electronic art. He is the author of the book « Internet Security Protocols » DUNOD 2001 « Video Games and Interactive Media, A Glimpse at New Digital Entertainment », AK Peters, 2006. He is also the producer and one of the designers of the book « Sol LeWitt Black Gouaches ».
